GAMC is designed around organized discussions rather than endless news feeds or algorithms. Conversations remain grouped by topic, allowing members to explore issues in greater depth and participate in thoughtful dialogue over time.

Our goal is to encourage understanding, respectful disagreement, and civic engagement rather than simply generating clicks or reactions.

Members who repeatedly violate the Community Code of Conduct may receive warnings, temporary restrictions, suspension, or permanent removal from the community, depending on the severity and frequency of the violations.

Our moderation philosophy is focused on maintaining respectful discussions while giving members the opportunity to learn from mistakes whenever possible.

The Great American Middle Class Forum was created to encourage thoughtful civic discussion. Members are welcome to express different viewpoints, challenge ideas, and respectfully disagree with one another.

Healthy debate is an important part of democracy. We ask every member to focus on discussing ideas rather than attacking individuals. Listen with an open mind, support your opinions with facts when possible, and treat fellow members with the same respect you would expect in return.

Our goal is not to eliminate disagreement, but to create an environment where productive conversations can take place.

To maintain a welcoming and productive community, certain types of content are not permitted on the forum.

Examples include:

• Personal attacks or harassment
• Profanity, vulgar language, or obscene content
• Hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory remarks
• Threats or intimidation
• Spam, repetitive postings, or automated content
• Knowingly false or misleading information intended to disrupt discussions
• Content that violates applicable laws or infringes on the rights of others

Members are encouraged to challenge ideas and policies vigorously while remaining respectful toward the people participating in the discussion.

Every member plays a role in maintaining the quality of the community. If you encounter a post that appears to violate the Community Code of Conduct, you may use the forum's built-in reporting tools to flag the content for review.

Flagged posts are reviewed by forum administrators before any action is taken. A report does not automatically remove content or result in disciplinary action.

If a member repeatedly violates the Community Code of Conduct and receives three confirmed moderation actions, the account may be suspended for six months. This policy helps protect the quality of discussions while encouraging members to participate respectfully.

Likewise, the reporting system is intended to improve the community, not to silence differing viewpoints. Members who repeatedly submit reports that are determined to be intentionally false, frivolous, or overturned through administrative review may also receive a six-month suspension after three confirmed instances.
